Paul Lewis (piano)
Saturday 23 October 2021
We are delighted to have Paul Lewis playing for us this evening. Paul is internationally regarded as one of the leading musicians of his generation. His cycles of core piano works by Beethoven and Schubert have received unanimous critical and public acclaim worldwide, and consolidated his reputation as one of the world’s foremost interpreters of the central European classical repertoire.
The pieces are well loved and the final one, pictures at an exhibition is a classic, originally written for piano of course.
